Jayesslee in Melbourne

I was really lucky to catch Jayesslee last weekend!

I was initially planning on catching Jayesslee in their next concert cause I promised my best friend in Tasmania that we'll attend their concert together.

Thanks to a really good friend, I managed to score some tickets at the very last minute!

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they were silver tickets when I went to pick the tickets up!

My friend was the lighting engineer and he did a pretty darn awesome job!

His booth was crazy complicated and if it were up to me, I'd probably make a blunder and totally turn on disco lights!

I didn't take much pictures cause it was a no photography event. Probably cause they sang a few songs which weren't released on Youtube yet.

The concert really enlightened me. It motivated me to open up my feelings and that I'm not alone with my pains and negativity.

Listening to them sing was awesome, getting to know their stories behind the songs and videos made it even better. Being really private people, I finally got to see their personalities a lil bit more and also a little more into their family and lives.

Their story about how their mom went through cancer really made me teary eyed. I felt really grateful that my mom was visiting from KL and I could see her when I arrived home that night.

I love my family...

Lol moving on!

Jayesslee tshirts!

See the black tee at the top? It was designed by Janice. Every stroke and line was lovingly drawn by her. =D

I ♥♥ Twins!

Double love, double fun!

I know, cause I have twin brothers.

My 'arm candy' for the night!

I have to explain the totally blinged out plaster.

I accidentally slammed my fingers on the door and seriously the cut was so deep, it still bled after 24 hours.

I was devastated cause it was my gaming finger!!  -.-"

While waiting for my brother to get ready, I decided to paint (yes, PAINT) my plaster with neon yellow nail polish and added glitter. Lol.

No one said plasters had to be boring!

And my day ended with a double cheese burger and medium fries.

Love~~

All in all, I had a great time that night.

I'd definitely go for the next Jayesslee concert.

  3. I've seen Jayesslee live twice, once was for the 2nd Boombox concert in Melbourne and the other time was with David Choi last year. These girls are so talented, charismatic and so gorgeous!

  4. Bling plasters! Haha! Sounds interesting and looks awesome! I giggled when you said it was your gaming finger because I just thought to myself, 'If I hurt my finger, I think I would react that way too, maybe more exaggerated.' and then laughed at myself for being such a loser. But gamers are awesome!

  6. Sounds like you had fun! I've not been to too many concerts, only Britney Spears lol. She lip synced the entire thing and probably spoke about 5 live words but I enjoyed it anyway :p Plus McDonald's at the end of the day is a great way to finish off a night :)

    1. Wow it was super painful! I took a fair bit of time to heal and it still hurts a lil when I press on the wound even though it's been a good 3 weeks!
