My Graduation!

Anddd hello hello!

Just a quick update, my graduation was exactly a week ago! I can finally close my undergrad life chapter.

I was supposed to graduate in 2012 but spaces were limited and I had to opt for a later slot yada yada yada.

But anyway, WOOHOO! *throws confetti*

And here's a small FOTD and OOTD-ish, just for fun!

I opted for really simple eye makeup, a wash of bronze eyeshadow (can't remember exactly what I used), eyeliner on top and bottom lash line, small wispy demi lashes and that's about it!

And here are my favourite elements for the day!

The lace dress was a steal from boohoo.com, the necklace was a gift from my parents (I suspect they were sick of my key pendant (anyone noticed it?) which they got me 2 years ago. Mehhhh...), ombre glitter nails and my faculty's graduation sash!

Coincidently, that was also my favourite colour among all the faculty colours, and also one of my favourite colours!

Mummy personally picked out the bouquet for me! Mainly because she liked them. I'm not surprised. If I were to pick a bouquet for myself, they would definitely consist of blue roses.

Guess what, the tulips are growing! They're way higher than the roses now and they're starting to bloom as well.

Who knew?

Ok back to studying for me! It's exam week. XS

Thanks for taking this short graduation journey with me!

Cheers!!

Some club, don't remember.

Hey girlies!

Today I'm gonna do one of the most generic bitch (bitch please~) post ever.

Clubbing pictures.

Yes. I never thought I'd post them, but I can, and I will.

But first, an obligatory picture.

I don't club much. Although I do love to dance, drinking is not my thing.

I never get high on alcohol. I get high naturally, or from an overdoes of sugar or e. Kidding. The e part, not the sugar part.

So if you could bring me into a club for free, I'm in.

My friend was the DJ for the night, so as a curious proud friend, I obviously had to be there!

Standing next to the DJ booth was pretty cool. But it did kill my ears.

And of course, I sooo gotta show my FOTD eh?

The lashes were the plasticky kind, but I'm ok with that.

As you can see, I did a really light cut crease cause to tell the truth, I'm really afraid of OTT makeup.

I always stop when I feel like my eyeshadow resemble's a drag queens', but in reality, Miss Dior herself would have laughed at me.

I will continue to improve on my eyeshadow application. Promise.

Now instead of ending this post with an obligatory drunk photo, I shall end it with a picture that literally gave my brother a fright.

Yes my darlings, makeup is like magic.

世界没丑人,只有懒人。

Cheers!!

Gyaru?

Exam's in a week's time and I'm not even 20% ready. AARGHHHHHHH!!

Good thing is, my exams are pretty spread out so I have enough a cram time.

OMG. Why do I always always leave stuff to the last minute?

Sighhhhhhh...

Anyway, here's my take on gyaru makeup.

Don't think I've fully captured what I'm trying to achieve but I'm not too sure what I should change either.

I have to say, I don't know what gyaru really means, but my opinion of gyaru is fully Popteen and Popsister.

I will research the true meaning of gyaru before I open my smart mouth.

Ever heard of people not 'absorbing' makeup?

I've noticed that there's 2 types of makeup people.

For type 1, the littlest amount of eyeliner/eyeshadow/blusher will seriously pop when applied. Hence, darker makeup will just make them look overdone. But on the bright side, a little makeup will seriously enhance their looks.

Type 2, which I think applies to me, do not have their makeup pop as much as wanted. Heavy makeup does not show as easily and requires more makeup for it to show. I guess the perks from this is that makes it easier to pull of heavier and darker looks?

What do you think?

Is there such thing or am I just imagining it?

A funny story to share.

Back in high school, my friends and I used to participate heavily in concerts and other performance stuff.

The part we used to dread was having the teachers chase us around with bright red $1 lipstick and horrifying blusher colours.

I simply cannot describe how the boys used to run from the teachers. It was so so so funny!!

Bottom line is, if you see a group running away, best if you run along or it's death by red lipstick and blusher.

Ah the good times.
