Another bargain bin buy!
This time, I managed to snatch up this lil sucker from Sportsgirl, Chadstone.
This is probably one of my first few 'cream' eyeshadows and with it's creamy consistency, it was very useful as an eyeshadow base to get the colours pop more on my lids!
I'm seriously having trouble getting colours to pop more on my lids. I probably should get an eyeshadow primer but somehow I always forget/don't bother when I'm out shopping. Heh.
The eyeshadow glides on smoothly and has great pigmentation. A very bright silver suitable for a night out!
I like how the eyeshadow resembles the Clinique Chubby Stick and it comes with a good amount of product, considering the price for it.
Sometimes, I prefer to buy eyeshadow and blusher with lesser product (total product weight) because seriously, I will never ever finish them. Considering how I am one who prefers to keep trying new products, I'd like to be able to hit pan on my products and buy new ones without feeling guilty!
As of right now, I have this black eyeshadow which I've been using pretty often since 2008 and I have barely made a noticeable dent on the eyeshadow. I was staring at it yesterday and the first thing that came into my mind was "Why is there still so much?!?!" I should feel grateful for having so much product left, but it find it a mystery. I'm predicting that I would probably hit pan in 2020 if I continue using it as usual. Lol.
What are your thoughts on having 'too much' product?

I'm mixed. i see your point, but at the same time, when i saw I paid $40 for like 3g of blush from M.A.C I went nuts at myself XD Seems like such a waste of money for such little product.. but you have a point! Feels nice to hit pan~ I don't think I've hit pan on any of my eyeshadows OR foundations (unless dropped)

ReplyDeleteI was really glad with this purchase! I'm so glad the silver turned out to be a pigmented 'true' silver! I was pretty worried the colour would turn out too white or gray! =D
