Napoleon Perdis Set Lipstick Review + Giveaway!

Hey lovelies!

A few weeks back, I checked my mail and was surprised to receive 2 Napoleon Perdis Set lipsticks in my mailbox! Surprise makeup via mail, almost as good as surprise flowers.

Apparently, NP was giving out some free lipsticks and the bf decided to get 2 for me. According to his logic, if one is good, two must be better! XD

Well, I don't need 2 lipsticks so I'll giving one away the second lipstick to one of you!

The lipstick up for giveaway today is a beautiful nude shade called San Jose. It goes one rather sheer and is surprisingly moisturising.

I'd say it the perfect lipstick when your lips looks as ghostly pale as an undiscovered deep sea jelly fish, and you'd like to inject some natural colour back onto your lips. On cold Monday mornings, this lipstick is my go to lip product as it helps my deathly looking lips look naturally healthy with a natural finish, almost like a lip balms.

The packaging's nothing to phone home about, but I like a simplicity of plain black and white packagings. It reminds me a lot of CK One cosmetics and a little bit of Em by Michelle Phan. The cap has to be my favourite with an accurate colour shown on the top.

The picture below shows a swipe of lipstick on the left and multiple times on the right.

Lipstick quality: ♥ ♥
Packaging quality: ♥ ♥ ♥
Ease of use: ♥ ♥ ♥

❝ Pros
A 'safe' nude shade that would probably work for all.
Buildable colour.
No odd heavy scent.
Moisturising for a lipstick.

❝ Cons
A bit too sheer for a single swipe.

TL;DR:
The sheer lip colour is 'safe' to apply on the run. Applying it out of the lip line can be forgiving as it's very sheer and natural feeling. It feels quite moisturising on sensitive lips and did not make my lips peel (Revlon lip butter made my lips peel and crack).
