Hey there! Happy 2014!
What are your New Years resolution?
Besides getting washboard abs (like every year), I have vowed to get my skin back in shape!
In was blessed with pretty alright skin during my time in Melbourne with the occasional pimple here and there, but nothing a bit of TLC and concealer couldn't handle. Late October, my skin just ruptured with red angry zits all over my chin and jaw area. Like, BAM! I had no idea what caused it to happen, but I stopped looking into the mirror. Needless to say, my confidence went down the drain and I relied very very heavily on makeup.
After a month, things starting getting worse and I researched the best methods to take care of my skin. I realised a had a bad case of hormonal acne. I packed up my makeup, stayed away from ice cream, stopped scrubbing my face and just allowed my face and my body to rest. I also injected a healthy dosage of almonds and salmon into my meals to whip the hormones back into line.
Today, my skin's alright. Filled with a bunch of scars and some whiteheads, but much better than angry red volcanos on my face.
