2NE1 Falling In Love - Park Bom Inspired Nails

Hello! *waves*

Following up from my full Park Bom look, here's a close up of my 2NE1 Falling In Love - Park Bom Inspired Nails!

When I first saw her nails, I knew I simple had to give it a go! White, silver and glitter? Sign me up!

The nails were relatively easy to achieve. Paint your nails with a white or silver base (whichever rhythm you fancy), use tape to achieve the sharp triangles, add the glitter or rhinestones and you're done!

I was so excited to this nail look that I actually raided Karla's (from Karlacosmetica. She does awesome youtube videos - check her out! Go go go!) nail stash for the glitter. Seriously people, she has the best makeup and nail stash ever! I plan to steal all her makeup one day. Shhh... Don't tell her k?

I couldn't resist adding a bokeh picture at the end because seriously, my nails have never been this bokeh-licious before!

It's been 1.5 weeks since I've done this nail look, and frankly, I still go 'OMG nice nails gurl~~' when I look at my nails. Bahahahaha!

Now my only dread? Removing the glitter. Not looking forward to it as I actually applied 4 layers of top coat to flatten the glitter down. I really didn't liked having bumpy nails and having my hair snag.

Any quick tips on removal? Anyone feel my dread as well?

XD

Cheers!

  7. This looks so pretty! Very intricate and blinged up :) You've applied everything meticulously. Sounds like it's lasted quite a long time as well. Hopefully removing it won't be too much of a pain.

  11. Thank you! Somehow this method didn't fully work for me. Maybe I didn't leave the remover on my nails long enough, or my remover kinda sucked. Lol. I'll have to try this again!

  12. Thank you!!! There were a lot of variation of the nail design from other bloggers, but this was my take on it. =D I think the idea of using silver foil would be equally as beautiful as well.

  14. Thank you! I was surprised that applying the glitter chunks were fairly easy, nothing like the horror I imagined in my mind. Removing it was, in fact, a huge pain. XD I guess I'm too impatient when it comes to the foil removing method.

  18. Use the foil method! Wet half of a cotton pad, place it on your nails then wrap them in foil. Wait about 5 minutes and voila! :) Btw I've nominated you for the Leibster Awards on my blog, so try out the questions! :)
